The COPIA Health Mentoring & Leadership Development Program is a training series for: Health and Wellness Practitioners, Coaches, Inspired Entrepreneurs, Educators, Leaders, and Social Change Activists. Targeted for Health and Wellness Practitioners, sessions will blend purpose-based and embodied wisdom with practical tools for building a successful practice. We will balance "being" (values, presence, self-inquiry) and "doing"(skill-building, tools, learning materials, and practical application). The program includes an aspect of leadership development for practitioners, community leaders and social change activists within the health and wellness field. This program is perfect for people who are self-directed and committed to self-awareness in their work to bring health and well-being to people, communities, and the environment.

Join Megan Lipsett, Jillian Schiavi, and Vickie Russell-Bell, for a journey in self discovery and complete lifestyle transformation. In 30 days you will increase your inner strength, nourish mind and body and find a community to support your evolution. In addition to committing to a regular yoga and mindfulness practice, you will establish effective tools to move towards a healthier lifestyle, including diet changes and deep self-inquiry. All of which results in a fresh, positive outlook on life. In yogic philosophy, complete health is discovered when we realize who we truly are. Through insight and determination, you'll learn to express complete well-being in your thoughts, emotions, body, actions and relationships.

The program includes: 2-hour weekly meetings, unlimited yoga classes, readings, activities, and a community of practice. Participants are also eligible for 20% OFF a 60-min personalized integrative health and wellness coaching session (details upon registration).

Week One | Center & Ground: Establish a daily practice of meditation and mindfulness - the foundation for healthy lifestyle change. Create a unique personal commitment to feel more awake, aware, and alive! Set a plan to bring complete well-being to your life.

Week Two | Cleanse & Energize: Heal and cleanse your body through a realistic, yet potent elimination diet - removing all toxic and inflammatory foods and replacing them with nourishing and energizing foods. Learn about balanced eating from an Integrative Health perspective.

Week Three | Simplify & Reconnect: Commit to connection, creativity, and mental clarity by taking a “digital detox”, setting personal goals to minimize your use of technology and increase your time in nature. Minimize distracting or toxic media, relationships, thought, and products. Remember your true nature and re-connect through purpose and play.

Week Four | Surrender & Deepen: Learn about how changing your mindset can change your life and your health. Sustainable Health: Yogic Practices for Optimal Well-Being (with Megan & Allie)

In this workshop you will learn skills in integrative health, yoga, and self-inquiry to promote sustainable self-care practices. You will develop a deepened awareness of your life resources: mental, emotional, physical, social, ecological, modified, and spiritual, in order to promote optimal health and well-being for yourself, your community, and the environment. This workshop will include: movement, mindfulness practices, lecture, group discussion, collaborative exercises, and play. We will offer practical skills in stress reduction, mindful listening, conscious consumption, and compassionate communication, that encourage and celebrate self-responsibility and healthy lifestyle design.

* This workshop will introduce the foundational concepts of Sustainable Health which will be foundational for the upcoming Conscious Consumption and Emotional Expression workshops. The Sustainable Health workshops can be taken individually or as a series.

Ayurveda, the “science of life”, supports us in embodying the yoga practice as a lifestyle. Weaving together the practices of yoga and the philosophy of Ayurveda, you will learn self-care practices that support a harmonious body, mind, and spirit. Gain a deeper understanding about how the basic energies of overstimulation, depletion, and balance guide the development of either chronic dis-ease or optimal well-being. Learn about the doshas and unique constitutional elements that impact how we can best find balance.

We will consider the best yogic practices during the various seasons (ritucharya), times of day (dinacharya), and phases of life. Learn to bring balance to your thoughts, emotions, physical body, and actions in the world. We will explore Ayurvedic perspectives on nutrition and nourishment, as well as anatomy and physiology. Learn about the proper foods, yoga asana sequences, and techniques to live in harmony with the environment.
